Frequently Asked Questions (and Answers!)

Who attends Midland Park CRC?
Our church's goal is to be a warm church where everyone can belong. We want you to feel welcome from the first moment you walk in the doors. You will find friendly greeters who are eager to answer your questions and help you settle in.

What is the music like?
Our music is blended with a mix of traditional hymns and newer songs.Several times a year our inspirational praise band leads us in worship before our great God, featuring primarily contemporary praise songs.  Other times we are accompanied by organ, piano and occasionally by various brass or stringed instruments.  Enhancing our worship experience is inspiring music by our adult choir, junior choir, other vocalists and a bell choir.

What is the teaching like?
Our preaching and teaching is from the Bible and relevant to everyday life. The presentation is always inspiring, relevant, passionate, and easy to follow. Click here to see video of our worship services.

What will be happening for my kids?
Your kids will love Midland Park CRC. Ministry is in place for them at all of our services.  Visit the "Youth" section of our website to learn about all of our programs for children and teens.

What should I wear if I visit?
We recommend that you dress in a way that is both comfortable for you and respectful of the fact that you are in God's house. We don't have a dress code for any of our services. You will find some people in jeans and t-shirts, and others wearing suits and ties.

Can someone care for my children while I attend services?
Yes! We have a bright, clean nursery staffed by loving Christian women who will care for your infants and toddlers while you attend the morning worship service.

How can I receive prayer
?
If you have a prayer request you can submit it either by emailing us  or by calling the church office at 201-445-4260. We also often pray for people's personal needs during our regularly scheduled services.

How do I meet people?
You won't have any trouble meeting people at Midland Park CRC because our church is friendly and caring. Because relationships are so critical in life, we encourage everyone to engage in relationships that will help them grow. The best way for you to begin building relationships is to check out one of our Small Groups.

Does your church offer pastoral counseling?
Yes, on a limited basis. We offer pre-marital, family and crisis counseling. The counseling we offer is strictly pastoral. We will refer long-term care to licensed counselors.
